My Biggest Problems with Blogs
Now don’t get my wrong I really love them. Though at times am reluctant to use mine for certain purposes.
These purposes include, you know what I did last night. Why? Well because if it was really that interesting I would tell you in person if I was able to. If something great happened I would really rather just tell you. So sometimes I don’t blog about this and that in my life for fear that someone I know would read it and then when I was telling them about it, they would be so bored. If I can’t tell anyone because I am on some huge adventure somewhere, well then I mean I’ll blog about it cause its cool, I am away, but I just feel sometimes the internet and the tools it provides us makes us lose, well human touch.
Now don’t get me wrong. I start everyday checking people’s blogs and to see what they are up to. But I appreciate it most when the person is you know half way around the world. Or someone I don’t get the chance to a talk to. Or on some big adventure. Or I love pictures. If you include pictures I think its great. Sometimes if the moment you are blogging and you just talk about the generalness of life, I also love that. I even do like hearing about your night.
It just bugs me more then life itself when someone who I talked to on a regular basis, or really have the ability to talk to, is sharing there life with me through a blog. Why can’t you tell me?
I really don’t want to hear about your engagement through email. I want to hear the excitement in your voice. Or at least if you are going to blog about it, tell me about it to because I really want to know.
Anyways the point of this posting. I think this could be the reason why I have trouble blogging. Or when I do blog it is about the oddest things. Like when I was gone I sent out updates, which I should have just put on here, because I had no other way to let people know what was going with me. Or when I was getting ready I used it because well I had all this excitement about individual wrapped toilet paper, and that my friends, is not an easy item to bring up in a conversation.
Me: So I am very excited about individually wrapped toilet paper
Person: Really?
Me: Ohh ya I think it is great
Person: You actually expect us to have a conversation about toilet paper
See it would not go so well. But still wanted to tell you all.
OK so I would like to finish this by saying I really appreciate blogs. I think they are great and love to read them. Even about the stuff you did last night. Especially the stuff you don’t want to bring up in a conversation. But people if I know you, please the big stuff, I want to hear it from your mouth. Or if anything don’t give me a small teaser and then have me read it on your blog!
Make Sense?

Hi Jen! Thanks we are officially both SNs now :) Hope all is well. My family in Edmonton (mainly my grandparents) have been asking if I'll be down in Edmonton this summer to visit them. But I'm not quite sure yet....as I'd like to leave for my TN mid Aug. But then again, you might be off on yours already.
OH......the places we'll go.
