Some of them are Orange

Last Friday I got in my car and drove 1 ½ hours to a lonely town of Barrhead, AB to visit with me friend Dana. Upon driving out there I realized that although I have done tons of highway driving this was my first trip alone. I always seem to have a car full of people either making far too much noise (this was usually going there) or no noise (coming home they got to sleep). Now this was not a long trip but I don’t know, I think I may want to become a long distance driver. Not full time but if I just need something to do I think it would be great! I put on some great music which I at times don’t admit to loving. Sang at the top of my lungs and thought about a lot of things. Some serious, some not so serious.

While being in small town Alberta I walked through the entire town at a snails pace in 10 minutes. Ok maybe it was 12. Still it was very tiny. Now have you ever seen the Sweetest Thing? You know the part where there clothes get ruined on the way out to a wedding and they have to get new ones in that awful store. Barrhead has that store. I have not lying; I wanted to do a movie montage. I could never live in a small town! I still laugh thinking about that store.

I was more then happy to get back in my car and return to the City. Edmonton maybe a small city but it is my home and I love it! Although at times I have been at odds with it. It is where I grew up. It is a place that I find hard to leave. It is in a Country I would give my life for!

The drive home was also great. Maybe slightly better after I smartly stopped at IGA and picked up some Rieces Pieces. MMMMMmmmm they are sooooo yummy. And some of them are Orange.
